Jorge Luis Decurgez has more than 25 years of executive and managerial experience in Latin America, especially highlighting his work with international investors in the development and implementation of strategic plans, the conduct of companies and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations.

Between 2011 and 2018 he was COO, CEO and Director of HydroChile, leading the team that developed, financed and built the San Andrés (40 MW) and El Paso (60 MW) hydraulic power plants. Likewise, on behalf of HydroChile shareholders, he led the process that resulted in the sale of the company to Chilean investors at the end of 2018.

Previously, between 2008 and 2011, he was Corporate CFO and Director of Allus Global BPO Center, where he was in charge of the group’s corporate finances and the strategic expansion plan to Colombia, Peru, the United States and Spain that converted Allus Global BPO Center in a regional company with more than 15,000 employees and 20 operational centers. He also assisted shareholders in the process of selling the company to regional investors in 2011.

Additionally, he has extensive experience in investment banking and capital markets, from his work in Citigroup, PENT Capital and as an independent professional practice, where he participated in dozens of M&A operations, bond issues and financial debt restructuring for governments of America Latina, corporations and investment funds.

Jorge has a degree in Administration from the University of Buenos Aires, a Postgraduate Degree in Finance from the Torcuato Di Tella University and a PADE graduate from ESE Business School, Universidad de los Andes. He was Assistant Professor of Finance at the Universidad Católica Argentina and, at present, is a Business Mentor of MBA graduates from ESE Business School, Universidad de los Andes.
